A little clarity. A more comfortable fit. Independent US & UK sizing guides

G Cup Bra Brand Size Charts and Availability

Compare bra brands through their chart conventions, construction choices and published fit guidance.

The useful answer

Identify the brand’s cup sequence, then check whether the storefront translates it. Match the exact model and complete band/cup pair; a brand-wide maximum letter does not establish model availability.

Write down the brand, the model, the country of the storefront and the size system printed on the garment. Freya’s international chart aligns UK G with US I at the same band. Wacoal America and retailer selectors may show other product brands alongside their own ranges. Do not assign one universal meaning to a letter that appears in several different chart contexts.

A body chart starts with where and how to measure. A label conversion chart begins with an existing size and changes the market label. The former can suggest a starting size; the latter does not measure you again. When a retailer presents a translated size selector, check whether you should enter your UK label or its already converted US equivalent so you do not convert twice.

A brand’s maximum cup letter does not prove that every model, band and colour has that letter. Verify the exact combination in the live product selector. Record the model name and the displayed size system so a later fit check can compare like with like. This guide does not track stock.

Distinguish brand sizing from storefront sizing

A brand chart can explain how a manufacturer labels garments, while a retailer selector can translate those labels for its own audience. Save both pieces of information. If a familiar UK model appears as G on a US storefront, establish whether that G is a converted US label before matching it to the size in your wardrobe.

Check the exact model as well as the brand name. A chart establishes a label convention; it does not show whether that model uses a shallow mould, deeper seamed cup, flexible upper panel or a different wire. Record construction beside the label so the next comparison is between actual garments rather than brand reputations.

When chart entries disagree, ask the seller which system appears on the garment tag and which system the selector expects. Keep that answer with the model reference. Do not average two cup letters or select the larger letter simply because it looks more inclusive.

Common questions

Is a UK G always a US G?
No. In the named international chart used by this site, UK G aligns with US I. Check the actual garment and retailer chart before ordering.
Does a brand offering G mean every model is available in my band?
No. Cup range can vary by style and band. Use the model’s complete-size selector.
What should I ask when a retailer and brand chart disagree?
Ask which system the retailer displays and whether it has already converted the maker’s original labels. Record the complete size and model name.
